The telephony industry is one that encourages, facilitates and enhances communication. That’s why we feel it’s important to interact with the other people in our industry on a face-to-face basis.

We also like to learn, idea share and collaborate.

That’s why we’re attending this year’s ICMI Contact Center Expo & Conference. The event will take place May 6-9, 2014 at the San Diego Convention Center in San Diego, CA. We’ve never been to this particular event before, but we’ve learned a lot at similar events in the past.

Conferences like this one are an awesome opportunity to gain face time with our current clients and to network with prospective clients, too. They’re also a great way to compare notes and share ideas with our industry peers.

While at the conference, we’re hoping to gain real-world insight that will assist us in further developing our current contact center support program. Feedback, thoughts and constructive criticism are all welcome! Learn more about our hosted contact center solution here:

The Contact Center Expo & Conference organizers have lined up some pretty recognizable speakers, including the keynote presenter, Bill Rancic. Bill’s a TV personality, best-selling author and entrepreneur. You might remember him as the first-ever winner of Donald Trump’s show The Apprentice.

Although we’re excited to hear what Bill Rancic has to say, we’ve found that, a lot of times, it is often the lesser-known speaker that has more to offer.  We’ll have to report back on who our favorite was after the show. Overall, ICMI always attracts a well-rounded group of professionals who are eager to share their experience…which makes it all the more valuable in terms of our attendance.

We also hope to use this opportunity to share our experiences and help our peers grow. We’re looking forward to giving back to the industry by sharing our experiences of client support and by sharing some of the applications that we have been working on that perhaps others can leverage with their programs to push the bar of support even higher.

Todd Reed, our SVP of Business Development, will be representing IVR Tech at the conference. If you’d like to connect before the event, his e-mail is
