Screening Employees For COVID-19
A major international university needed to develop a check-in survey for its employees to use each workday. Employees must log in to a website or respond to a text survey designed to assess their current health. The short survey (less than six questions) asks the employee to answer “Yes” or “No” and receive immediate confirmation of whether or not to come into work for that day.
The university discovered that a fair percentage of their employee base does not have access to high-speed internet or even uses a smartphone. It was essential to find a solution as they could not afford to let this group slip into work without completing the daily survey. IVR Technology Group was engaged with their survey vendor to design a solution.
IVR Survey Solution
Working directly with the university, we built a real-time validation process to ensure the party of record was taking the call. Responses would be registered accurately against that party within the survey database. The results are tabulated in real-time and pushed into the survey dashboard for the clients’ immediate reference. The IVR (Interactive Voice Response) component needed to process the results at the same speed as the website and text-based surveys.
Creativity, access to technology, and rapid response were the three building blocks the university and survey vendor needed to round off their offering for the client. We brought all three into the solution while directly interfacing with the university as the “IVR Department” of the survey vendor. This ensured relations we maintained, communication was ongoing, and the client experienced results at the highest level.
