Michael S. Byrne
Co-Founder & CEO
As IVR Tech’s Chief Executive Officer, Mike is intimately involved in the day-to-day operations and is focused on IVR Tech’s strategic vision and initiatives, as well as leading the company’s product development and overall strategy. He co-founded IVR Tech in 2003, after serving as the EVP of Sales and Marketing for Prosodie Interactive, US. Prior, Mike served as EVP of sales and marketing for IVR Inc., an early pioneer in the IVR hosting, service bureau space. Prosodie Interactive acquired IVR, INC., in 1999.
Mike got his start in the technology industry while helping to design and develop telephony components for a patented school bus and vehicle tracking application; the patents still stand today.
As a CEO, as a father, as a husband and as a friend, Mike’s passion for life and business are evident. He’s been a serial entrepreneur from the age of 12 — starting with a paper route and tennis racquet string business before moving on to brick and mortar retail and e-commerce, tennis management and club ownership to now.
In recent years, IVR has reinvented itself, thanks to some extremely important people and partners. We firmly believe we have the most dedicated people on our team. We’re eager to assist our customers however we can and, finally, we believe the phone is, and always will be, the most important business tool!
VP of Information Technology
Jesse has been working in IT for 13 years. He’s worked as a helpdesk, PC support and telecommunications technician. An experienced IT professional, Jesse has managed network and systems staff and has provided astute technical leadership support. Jesse has played an integral role in the planning and execution of multiple technology-related projects, such as managing the IT budget and assisting with the IT planning and forecasting of the organization he previously worked at. He has designed, planned and implemented network and server infrastructure improvements and has also identified and procured technology to address the needs of the organization.
Jesse’s skill set includes experience in Windows and Linux server systems, Astaro, Cisco, Engenius and Extreme Network equipment and Cisco, Nortel Meridian, Norstar and sipXecs telecommunications.
Senior Software Engineer
As one of IVR Technology Group’s Senior Software Engineers, Ron is involved with all aspects of our telephony platform. He’s been developing IVR and telephone applications for over 20 years and has personally developed hundreds of applications. Ron has been a part of IVR Tech since the beginning. He has been instrumental in developing IVR Tech’s foundation and navigating our successes.
A dedicated husband, father of two and friend to all…Ron has owned several of his own small business, including a nightclub and a garage. He is a spiritual man who enjoys hiking, kayaking and flying.
Technical Support Specialist
Frank has been a part of the IVR Tech family since the spring of 2013. Frank’s educational background is in Information/Networking Technology. His professional experiences include providing quick and assertive technical assistance and support related to computer systems, hardware and software. Combined, these two factors allowed for a pretty seamless transition into his role at IVR Tech.
Frank is responsible for developing, preparing, testing & deploying standard Linux and Windows-based configurations, conducting equipment inventory, installing, maintaining and repairing computer hardware, managing Active Directory and conducting server support.
Outside of the office, Frank enjoys playing hockey, attending concerts, fly fishing, hunting and camping.
Director of Marketing
Ashley has a Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism and a Minor in Writing. In her spare time, she enjoys watching Netflix and can’t help but to always end the night with an episode of The Office. She’s a firm believer that hard work pays off and is currently trying to make her mark in this crazy place we call the world.

Hareesh is part of IVR Tech Dev team. He is a postgraduate with MCA from Amrita University and he passionate about traveling, watching movies and enjoy great chats also do love biking so much. His area of expertise includes, coding in Django and Python. Also fond of UI designing and AngularJS.
He believes in working as a team online or in the office can only produce stellar projects. Successful engineers also become good communicators.
He has the capacity to fulfill all his family duties and achieve professional goals at the same time, professional life gives you exposure, confidence & sense of achievement. He believe the fulfillment one gets from oneâ€™s work is very important for well being. He enjoy life to the fullest & love humor and also a progressive thinker & respect each personâ€™s space & values.
Akash serves as the President at IVR. In this capacity, he provides strategic oversight over the organization. Prior to owning IVR Technology Group, Akash founded, managed and sold two technology start‐ups. He serves on multiple non‐profit and corporate boards. He has been involved in the Buffalo, NY community and was selected as a 2008 Buffalo Rising Leader.
On a daily basis, Akash provides the team with support, organization and direction. He is dedicated not only to IVR Technology Group as a company, but is also personally invested in each of its customers and employees. Akash offers opportunities to highlight employee strengths as well as chances to explore areas of interest within the IVR realm. His is married and has one son and one daughter.
Wey Wey Wong
Wey Wey oversees and manages operations, project development & deployments, strategic planning for all 800 Adept and Adeptel’s operational and marketing needs. She has handled the company’s telecom-related consolidation and audit projects for Fortune 500-sized clients. Wey Wey has an MBA with an IT concentration and Bachelor of Science in Management Information Science. She’s a certified PMP (Project Management Professional) & has been with the company almost 20 years. She is experienced in strategic telecommunications planning, partnership and alliance development.
Wey Wey spends most of her spare time involved in local chamber of commerce activities where she serves as the Board of Director. She also enjoys the children ministry and volunteer works. She hopes to rekindle her passions in arts by following in the footsteps of her calligraphy artist father. (Some day when her children grow older.) Wey Wey is married and her husband Danny and she have a daughter and a son.
Karthic R. Raghupathi
Director of Software Engineering
Karthic loves a challenge and enjoys the diversity of developing various IVR and mobile applications. His interest in software development started earlier on in his life.
Karthic grew up and attended college in India where he earned his undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering. Soon after, he moved to the Buffalo area to attend the University of Buffalo, where he received his Master’s in Management of Information Systems.
In 2009 he joined the team at IVR Tech as a Software Engineer. Since that time he has proven himself to be an invaluable element. He is a patient teacher, mild-mannered collaborator and all around fun person to spend every day with. Now serving as the Director of Software Engineering, he leads IVR Tech’s developers as a solid, composed, cool friend.
Web Developer and SEO Specialist
For 16 years, Kim has worked for the company as a programmer, media designer and web developer. She develops and manages the online applications for client reporting and APIs. She graduated summa cum laude with dual BS degrees in Computer Technology and Accounting and also holds a Masters in Business.
Outside of the office Kim is a supporter of the local Performing Arts and Theater scene, particularly Dance. She enjoys attending shows and taking just about any kind of class. Learning, reading and her dancer daughter are her passions.
SVP Business & Partnership Development
As one of IVR Tech’s most experienced team members, Todd has helped us connect with new partners, earn new customers and improve our suite of products.
Todd serves as the liaison between IVR Tech Group & its partners. His strategic planning skills and his understanding of the financial industry helps customize our products to meet the needs of our partners & customers on an individual basis. His ability to understand complex workflows and identify how they can be improved has served many of our partners & customers very well.
Todd’s professional experience is complimented by his Six Sigma Black Belt certification. Originally a Western New Yorker, Todd has traded harsh winters for sunshine & beaches and now enjoys West Coast living. Also an animal lover, Todd is currently “dad” to 3 rescue dogs.
According to him coding is a passion and developing it from a purely scientific skill into a craft is just like an art. He knows not to waste time writing trivial or redundant tests, instead focusing on testing the essential parts of each component. He also shares his knowledge by conducting seminars and persuades his peers to do the same.
In his free time he turns to an offroad rider. He is also one of the sort after player for his club for his backhand shots and smashing skills, when it comes to badminton.
Eric has been with IVR Tech as our Chief Technology Officer since 2003. He enjoys learning and trying out new technology stack and has extensive knowledge in build scalable software architecture and platform.
Eric demonstrates his eye for detail as he works alongside our customers, evaluating and identifying appropriate technology platforms for each project. Eric’s dedicated work ethic and ability to teach collaboratively makes each project faced seem like the newest and most fun challenge thus far. Eric is married and has a son and a daughter. Outside of the office, he enjoys biking & playing tennis.
EVP, Sales & Marketing
John is an expert with IVR and SMS applications. His career in direct marketing began over thirty years ago at Grolier Incorporated where his management skills and vision enabled the company to design, develop, and launch the first automated telemarketing outbound program and data management system of its kind. Now, some 34 years later, John is considered one of the foremost direct marketing & communication specialists with a host of hands on experience in teleservice operations, marketing and fulfillment support and management roles.
He has been responsible for creating and managing solutions for telecom, IVR, predictive, automated dialing, inbound ACD, virtual agent, direct brick and mortar operations for small to fortune 100 companies. He has been actively involved with the direct marketing industry as a past chairman of the DMA’s Teleservices Council, he is an inaugural member of the DMA’s Teleservices Ethics Committee, the Angel Award recipient from the DMA, TelePro award recipient of the American Teleservices Association, active member of SOCAP and is a sought-after speaker.
From day one, Yan has been an awesome fit for IVR. Our team is incredibly lucky to have snatched up this fast-learning programmer right out of college. Yan holds a Master’s of Science degree from the University of Buffalo. He is meticulously detailed in his work and has added immense value to our development team since day one. His primary role here at IVR is to write IVR applications through Java Script code.
In addition to being strongly self-motivated and eager to learn, Yan is an all-around great guy. His easy going disposition adds a fresh vibe to our open office space. When Yan isn’t in the office, he loves playing basketball, Ping-Pong, swimming and playing pool.
Vikram became part of 800Adept team in July 2012. Following immigration from India with Bachelors’ of Science degree, he pursued a Computer Engineering Technology degree with Microsoft and Cisco as major. His area of expertise includes Windows server installation, configuration along with Cisco switches and routers installation and configuration. His experience with hypervisor platforms has helped the company in implementing server virtualization and consolidation.
Vikram’s responsibilities are installing, configuring, testing and deploying windows systems, maintaining LAN and WAN networks, managing Active Directory and providing technical support to users.
Vikram enjoys listening to Indian classical music, watching movie and TV shows like NCIS.
Technical Project Manager
Ankur joined IVR Tech in September 2015. After receiving his Bachelor’s degree in India, Ankur moved to Buffalo and earned his Master’s degree from University at Buffalo. Before joining the IVR Tech team, Ankur worked as a .NET developer and as a project engineer for Wipro.
As our technical project manager, Ankur will help us be a stronger and more efficient organization by scoping projects better, delivering results in a timely fashion and optimizing our internal operations. Outside of the office, Ankur loves brainstorm puzzles and playing chess. His favorite past times include movies, music and cricket. Solving challenging problems keeps his heart pumping.
He pursues devops practices and always work along with the operation team in a cordial manner. He also shares his knowledge by conducting seminars and persuades his peers to do the same.
In his free time he turns to a book worm. He is also one of the sort after player for his club for his dribbling and shooting skills, when it comes to football.
Chirag serves as the Director of Operations at IVR Technology and as the VP of Customer Success. Chirag loves technology and is fascinated by how we interact with the technology that surrounds us. He spent several years in public accounting before making the jump to starting and growing a web development firm, which was later merged with IVR Technology Group.
Chirag is involved with a venture accelerator in Upstate New York, is a co-founder of a healthcare technology startup and he also sits on the board of a local non-profit. Chirag has been invited to speak at several entrepreneurship and technology conferences. In his spare time, he enjoys writing, consuming science fiction, sipping philosophy, going on hikes with his wife and tending to his vegetable garden. Chrag is married and has one son.
Senior Vice President, Customer Service
Matthew is a client engagement architect, responsible for designing process improvements from inception to development that enhance all aspects of the client experience.
Matthew believes that there are many events that occur throughout engagement, some paramount, some incredibly successful and some discouragingly negative moments. How we react in those negative moments defines us.

Technical Support Specialist
Paul hit the ground running when he joined the team in the spring of 2014. As our on-site technical support specialist, Paul is responsible for developing, testing & deploying standard configurations, managing active directory accounts & users’ right management, equipment inventory management and troubleshooting server issues.
His past experience was heavily focused on developing relationships with and providing outstanding service to his valued clients. This know-how coupled with the innate enjoyment he gets from working on computers makes Paul the perfect fit for this position.
He’s also an athletic guy who enjoys playing all types of sports, including softball, bowling, snowboarding, hockey & basketball. Paul holds a Bachelor’s degree in economics from the University at Buffalo.
Marketing Communications Specialist
As an Account Executive, Andrew is responsible for generating and delivering reports for our customers. His professional experience in customer relations allows him to identify and analyze customer issues with proficiency. Combined with his expertise in GIS Analysis, he creates presentations that allow our customers to see opportunities for growth.
He has Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Communications from Rollins College. Outside of the office, he enjoys being a member of Toastmasters International.
National Account Executive
Patrick is a dedicated account executive at 800 Adept. His primary role is responsible for effective client management, full service operational support, IVR design, CDR analysis, application test and comprehensive reporting. He has joined the company since the summer of 2007 and he holds a Bachelor of Art degree in Management Information System from the University of Central Florida. He enjoys working in a team environment, continues to learn and grow with the company and strives to provide exceptional supports and improvements to the clients.
Patrick is also passionate about art, image editing and photography. He enjoys being a “weekend warrior,” serving beautiful brides and grooms with his photography skills. Whether he is working in the office or shooting photos at an event, Patrick is always focused on his work and he is committed to bringing the best client experience possible.
