Buffalo, NY – September 1, 2015 – IVR Technology Group, a leading pay by phone solution provider, announced that it has attained Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS) Level 1 compliance.

Level 1 is the highest level of compliance and requires over 6 million Visa and/or Mastercard transactions be processed within 12 months, procedures, network architecture, software design, requirements for security management and other critical protective measures. There are 12 control categories with over 340 requirements in total.

Compliance standards aim to reduce credit card fraud by keeping cardholder data secure. This includes the full Primary Account Number, cardholder name, expiration date and service code. It also requires that Sensitive Authentication Data be protected. This includes full magnetic strip data, CAV2, CVC2, CVV2, CID, PINs, PIN blocks and more.
