TCPA & Outbound Broadcasting
Thank you for your interest in our white paper on the Telephone Consumer Protection Act. Just give us a bit of information about you, then we’ll provide the link.
Excerpt From The White paper
The purpose of the Telephone Consumer Protection Act or TCPA is to restrict solicitations by telephone and the use of unsolicited automated outbound calls (i.e. robocalls).
The TCPA limits the use of automatic telephone dialing systems. This includes blast delivery messages that send out automated voice, SMS text, or faxes.
The TCPA also protects consumers from fraud. Within the United States, automated dialing systems are prohibited from “knowingly transmitting misleading or inaccurate caller identification information with the intent to defraud, cause harm, or wrongfully obtain anything of value (1).”
