Michael S. Byrne, Co-Founder & CEO
As IVR Technology Group (ITG) Chief Executive Officer, Mike is intimately involved in the day-to-day operations and is focused on ITG’s strategic vision and initiatives, as well as leading the company’s product development and overall strategy. He co-founded ITG in 2006, after serving as the EVP of Sales and Marketing for Prosodie Interactive, US. Prior, Mike served as EVP of sales and marketing for IVR Inc., an early pioneer in the IVR hosting, service bureau space. Prosodie Interactive acquired IVR, INC., in 1999.
Mike got his start in the Technology Industry while helping to design and develop telephony components for a patented school bus and vehicle tracking application; the patents still stand today.
As a CEO, as a Father, as a Husband or as a Friend, Mike’s passion is evident. A serial entrepreneur from the age of 12 – started with a paper route and tennis racquet string business, moving on to brick and mortar retail and ecommerce, Tennis management and club ownership to now….
ITG in 2009 faced a couple of very sad, unfortunate and tragic events. Thanks to some extremely important people and partners ITG has reinvented themselves. At ITG, we believe primarily in just a couple of things…. our people, our customers and that the phone is and always will be, the most important business tool!
Akash serves as the President at ITG. In this capacity, he provides strategic oversight over the organization. Prior to owning IVR Technology Group, Akash founded, managed, and sold two technology start‐ups. He serves on multiple non‐profit and corporate boards. On a daily basis, Akash provides the team with support, organization, and direction. He is dedicated not only to IVR Technology Group as a company, but personally invested in each of it’s members. Akash offers opportunities to highlight employee strengths as well as offer chances to explore areas of interest within ITG.
As the Chief Operating Officer, Chirag loves technology and is fascinated with how we interact with the technology that surrounds us. He spent several years in public accounting before making the jump to starting and growing a web development firm, which was later merged with IVR Technology Group.
Chirag is involved with a venture accelerator in Upstate New York, is a co-founder of a healthcare technology startup and he also sits on the board of a local non-profit. Chirag has been invited to speak at several entrepreneurship and technology conferences.
